Camera Angles

In this blog I will be shortly giving examples of camera angle through the movie scenes of Red Notice.

From 0:00 to 0:05 is and over the shoulder which is used to show a type of perspective close to the perspective of the person holding the gun. This gives a dramatic effect to the scene.

0:07 This a medium shot of the rock which makes people emphasize with him and the mood it is trying to give off.

This is a type of master shot in order to kind of introduce the scene and characters to the audience.

As well as being a master shot it is also a full shot as it gets the characters in the frame from top to bottom.

This is a close up shot used when there is some tension built up in the scene.

This is an extreme close up shot which is used before or/and after has happened and so it adds tension to the scene.

This is an extreme wide shot where you can see the surroundings as well as the main characters.

Followed with a cut in to one of the characters to relate to the situation that they are in.

Cut away shot is used to show the emotion of the character and in this case is Ryan Reynold's character finding out he has been played.

This is an establishing shot although it was not used as one in the actual movie, but it sets in where the characters are and their surroundings.

This is a wide shot which shows the link between the characters and the environment they are in order to set a type of mood.

This shot was taken as a POV (point of view) shot like we are looking and experiencing things that Dwayne Johnson’s character is like looking at Ryan Reynolds and shaking due to the helicopter moving left and right from the turbulences.
