Camera Movements

In this blog I will be shortly talking about 4 different camera movements used for recordings which are pan, tilt, dolly and track.

Pan movement

Pan movement refers to moving from left to right or right to left with your hands and hips in order to follow the subject you are trying to record

Tilt movement

Tilt is basically moving up and down with your hand after the subject or while trying to capture different things of the subject or get other relevant thing in the frame.

Dolly movement

Dolly movement is moving closer, further away and alongside from the subject.

Track movement

Track movement is following the subject whilst maintaining a constant distance from the subject.

All these camera movements are very important and essential whilst recording in order to make the scenes more smooth and fluid which makes it more entertaining and and engaging for the audience as it captivates them.
